Thanks for the pictures.

The Land Rover pedigree is awesome to behold. These vehicles are dream machines. Every time I see these vintage rovers, I can imagine hundreds of different adventures that they made possible around the world. Land Rovers were a game changer in the world of expeditionary travel.

The Defender concept vehicle does not belong to this pedigree. It trades off a great name, but it is an imposter. The new concept vehicle does not conjure up visions of expeditionary travel that previous Land Rovers made possible.
