My last addition to my WJ was a pair of new rock sliders which look really good....the next project this Saturday will be getting rid of my hockey puck 2" coil spacers, and putting on my new 4" lift! :Mechanic:

My friend SOCALFJ will be over lending a hand too (of course I'll be providing beer during and bbq when we're done!)

I can't wait! I'll be sure to post pics! :wings:

Hmmm.....

I do like me some Fat Tire.

I'm doing a HAM test Sat AM, and might head to AT to help a buddy pick up a new RTT, but if that doesnt happen, I'll bring my tools down and give you a hand. Plus the wife is out of town so I get to play as long as I see fit!

Shoot....watching Fergie's cool WJ build-up pics always makes me want to update mine!

About the only things I've done to it (besides all the DW garbagge I've been messing with!) is moving my spare on my roof to the front of the rack, and installed my c02 tank on the roof also!

I mounted it on a pre-cut piece of mmetal I found at Lowes...strengthens up the rack pretty good too!

and some quick-fists for my shovel...

I really wish I could continue with the "want-to's" instead of all my "have to's"

I did away with my 5 gallon gas cans & went with 4 2.5 gallon cans...my jerry cans had a habit of leaking gas though very fragile gaskets!

Oh they're only the ones I found at a local Pep Boys. I just keep 'em strapped up there & use my super siphon to fill my tank up. Thy way I had to mount my 5 gallon jerry cans up on my roof rack made them look silly, so I changed. In a perfect world, I'd have a new steel bumper/swing out on the back with a double jerry can holder.

I've toyed with the idea of getting one of those 15 gallon tanks with the nozzle on it. Lay it flay on the rack and let gravity work. Maybe,eh

Not a bad idea I suppose...I do have to work a sheet of plywood under my 2.5 gal tanks so they don't wiggle thru the bars on my rack....and sometimes using my tie-downs to keep them secure is kind of a pain...

I would like to keep my setup effective....but something lower in profile on my roofrack would be nice...I don't need stuff stacked up there like a pyramid!
