Those with rear lights on a BajaRack, how did you mount them?

I want to mount some lights on the rear and maybe also the sides of my BajaRack. Has anyone done this? If so, how did you mount them? I know I could fab something fairly easily, but I just wanted to get some ideas. I saw the link below for Garvin racks, which is right along the lines of what I'm thinking. Any ideas?

I saw those but I wanted them mounted a little lower so they don't stick too far above the top of the rack. I have some 7" round lights I want to use.

it's going to be tough to mount it lower. from that angle it looks like the lamp is above the rack by a lot but it's not, maybe 0.5-1" above the rack. also keep in mind if you put it any lower the rear hatch/spoiler will hit it when you open the hatch. if i angle the light toward the ground anymore the spoiler will hit the light.

and i have this: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H0QPXO/ref=wms_ohs_product_T2"]Amazon.com: Hella HLA-006991371 Double Beam FF Medium Range Spread Beam: Automotive[/ame]

Which model BajaRack rack (that sounds redundant) do you have? As stated earlier check for light mount tabs on the rear. Be careful that your rear door/hatch can open if you reposition the light but depending on the model of your light you can always flip it 180, or drill a slightly lower hole in the light mount tab. Just be sure you want that hole before you drill it!

How do you like those Hella lights? With the double beam I assume they put out a lot of light.

:sombrero: It's not a baja rack, but

I mounted mine upside down on the Light tabs-

Most racks have the light tabs-if not, you can Google --Jeep rack lights-

Good luck

CB Antenna Mirror Mounts.. $10

Rattle can 'em black.. You might have to use longer bolts due to the difference in tube size.. I did..

Wow - 2 for $10 aluminum with SS hardware. That's not bad.

ETA -if you have a little MIG welder you could also weld on some tabs. You would have to scrape away some of the powder coat to weld, and then rattle can it flat black, and that could potentially void your warranty but it is an option if you want a real custom solution.

I'm running my rear Hella AS115 in the same spot as teejnut.

The duel beam work lamp works great. Hella offers a few different beam patterns for the AS115 ( close, mid and long ). I went with the close range to have more light around the truck.

Hope your able to figure something out with your lights.

I have a MegaMule. The holes on the rear might work, but on the sides I guess I'll have to go with the CB mounts Token pointed out. I'll post what I come up with. Thanks for the ideas.
