Those are actually quite funny. He kept praising the Defender for its greatness in comfort and hill climbing, but the cruiser won? Do you think its bias, or actually honest?

He mentioned the comforts of the two for about half of the first vid, the land cruiser clearly won out for its B pillar placement, rear cargo area, and its rear window superiority. However; the Land Rover got great regards in its dashboard and center "cubby hole"

As for driving, i think they may have screwed up a little. It seems that the land rover decided when to lock its axels, where the cruiser was selectable (big advantage IMO). Also the rover had terrible hill decents. If the vehicle is in low range that should have been disabled. The cruiser really didn't have problems when it was locked up, the landy didnt have much of a problem either, but it was doing the selecting for the driver. I dont like it when the car thinks for me.

Over all i bet the cruiser is more affordable with a bigger aftermarket of useful off road products.

here is the real product review

It's funny, because after watching the videos, I used to lust after the 70 series and the Defenders, but now other than better looks, I wouldn't trade my 80 for either one...diesel engines not withstanding.

Seems to me, the 80 combines the best of all worlds. I can drive rock solid on the interstate at 80 mph like it was a car or do pretty much anything those rigs can do off road.

Don't get me wrong, I love those rigs and I'll always think the Defenders are the coolest looking 4x4s ever made, but my lust has faded for what I don't have and my appreciation grown for what's sitting in my garage.

I've been watching all the other videos from that same website and they are just plain awesome. I'm thinking of subscribing to get more. Anyone else done this yet? Would it be worth it?
