How are the new Chevys doing for reliability and performance?

I'd wait until this Summer for the all-new 2014 Silverado/Sierra with the direct injected motors (4.3L V6, 5.3L and 6.2L V8s). If you want fuel economy without complexity, that's where you'll find it. I've spent quite a bit of time in/around the 2014 and they've really improved the truck. Neither power nor fuel economy numbers have been formally released, but the new 5.3L DI (all-new motor, same displacement) should put out more power and torque than the 5.0L Ford but with 15% better fuel economy ratings

I guess the "good" thing is my lemon is still under warranty so I don't have to decide right now. It just sucks having paid as much as I did for a "Ford quality" truck and I've had this many problems. It'd be different if I beat the truck too but I don't. With age comes wisdom and appreciation for good money spent. Too bad it wasn't on a good truck.
I like the looks of the GMC - I just wish they'd quit playing games and come out with the numbers.
Thanks for the feedback.
