I've been working on my build for about 4 months now. It's getting closer to finished (about 90% there). It took a little longer than I wanted, however we had a few hail storms (5 of them that my JK were in). The only damage was the hood and wiper cowl. So I replaced with the factory Rubicon X hood and a factory wiper cowl.

Which makes me ask... You were aev before. Why the switch to arb?

The lift is AEV again. I wanted something different this time around. The tire carrier is super easy to install, no linkage to mess with like I had on the AEV tire carier, and keeps that tire as close as you can get to the rear gate. The ARB bumper does not offer as much coverage on the rear quarters like the AEV did.

Please tell me more about this. how well do they match? where they black before? would you do it the over again?

thanks.

How much do you think that ARB rear bumper weighs?? I currently have the TF tire carrier also and will be running a 37" tire soon

I was fortunate to come across a set that were taken off a brand new '14. This is a factory option. you can have your black ones smoothed out with "filler" and than have them painted or order ones from Jeep that are already ready for paint. I scored on that deal. It cost $27 in clips and 1 1/2 hours of my time.
