Tires for Gen 1 Mitsubishi Montero: Cooper, Hankook, or Falken?

I have an '87 Montero (2.6l, 5-speed) that needs new tires. The wheels are alloy rims from a Gen II Montero, so they're a little lighter than the steels it came with. I'm planning on 30x9.5x15 tires, which are about 1.25" taller than stock. In my terrain and driving (Oregon and the PNW in general), I've found I prefer a slightly taller & narrower tire.

This vehicle sees largely road/highway miles, but an awful lot of gravel roads as well in the normal course of weekly driving. Recreationally, I explore old logging/mining roads and only occasionally get truly "off road." What I do see is lots of coarse gravel, dirt, and rocky roads; no mud bogging or rock crawling. (When I do see mud it's usually a thin layer on top of hard pack; occasionally I'll see deep muddy ruts on logging roads, but for those rare instances I have cross-bar chains.) Based on this, I believe I need an aggressive A/T type tread.

My primary concerns for any tires that will handle my conditions are 1) excellent rain performance, 2) good snow performance (we usually have a couple of good snowstorms a year, and I do travel over mountain passes occasionally) and 3) noise. Since the majority of miles are on pavement and groomed gravel, good tread wear will be a big plus.

This tire size is a little hard to find, so I've narrowed the available choices down to the Falken Wildpeak A/T, Cooper Discoverer S/T, or Hankook Dynapro ATM. The Falken and Hankook appear to be very similar in terms of capabilities, while the Coopers are a little more aggressive.

Any thoughts or suggestions on these three tires would be appreciated!

Sorry, no input on the above three tires, but you may also want to look at the Firestone Destination AT and General Grabber AT. If budget allows, I also highly recommend the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor.

I'm not sure where you got the impression that the 30x9.50 r15 is limited on manufacturers, but I ran the BFG A/T's in that size the first 2 years I had my Jeep and loved them. You could likely also run a 33x9.50 as well, I have read that guys did this with the stock suspension.
