TJM YULARA ROOF TOP TENT

Picked one of these up at the scratch and dent pile at summit yesterday. Needs a hole in the aluminum patched but for 600 I'm not going to complain.

Anyone know anything about them? Is there any things I should be cautious of when using this tent. It's my first RTT and it will end up on my trailer.

Yeah I'm excited. Making a rack is gonna be a chore. I want adjustable height and to get it up high enough for a annex room I will need to sling the tent so lots of steel going on.

I know this thing is very similar to the cvt mt shasta

I have 2 straps connected to poles in the tent that aren't attached to anything else.... any thoughts

Do the straps run along the floor under the mattress? If so they give you something to grab onto when getting off the ladder into the tent.

kinda. they would if i put them that direction. one end is looped around the far pole and the other end has 2 sewn loops on it. Is it really just a handle?

Thanks for that link. That manual is great info for me and verified that I'm doing things right. I recently purchased a yulara from puretacoma.com and I love it.
