To all stock or mildly lifted JK owners, Update on My MONROE REFLEX....

I installed my Monroe reflex monotubes on my 2011 JKU at about 70k on the clock. Fast forward about 1.5 years, and 80k more. I had 2 bushings in the shocks go out. 1 front bottom, 1 rear upper. All shocks are being replaced under warranty via NAPA. Buy new ones, return the old ones for refund. That is great service, and They are great shocks. Anyone running a stock, leveled or 2.5" spring, I would install these, with extensions if needed and never buy another set of shocks again. The other bonus is that they make the jeep ride, handle and tackle all terrains better than the stock shocks ever could. One of the best mods I have done so far to my rigs. I use them on all my off road rigs. They totally transformed the suburban from a wallowy lump to a planted, stable family hauler.

They are stiffer than stock/rubicon shocks, but softer than 5100s etc. Warranty through napa/Monroe is second to none.

Good to hear that you had this taken care of.. We weren't so lucky via Sears. Back when we had the 07 Commander.. I wanted to upgrade our shocks.. Sears a trust name (back then) suggested the Monroe Reflex shocks (same as yours).. Three botched attempts I was left with crappy shocks But did get a potion of my money refunded.. However Not all was lost.. KYB heard my Plea and Sent a sent of their Monotubes.. We didn't have the Commander long enough to tell any difference.

After suffering with the death wobble last summer.. I was in the same boat as you.. Several have suggested different routes in order to correct the wobble.. We settled (for the time being) replacing the stabilizer and the grade 8's But just did the front end.. This has made a big difference with the jeep's handling. But over that time before we installed the grade 8's.. Our factory shocks went out at 56K miles.. We've installed Skyjacker alternatives.. in the hopes of lifting the jeep.. Which has now become a moot point. I mean if those shocks are working for you.. then by all means stay with them.. These Skyjackers.. I'm not impressed with.. But it is what it is and we needed shocks.

FIY: Are you referring to these type of drop blocks:

Yes, skyjackers are not good. I have great luck with the monroes. The jks drop brackets drop the control arms, creating a much more controlled ride.

I've been running the Monroe Sensatrac Loadlevelers on my KJ for the past 2 years and have loved them. They really keep my heavy back end up (due to bumper weight) even with the HD Old Man Emu springs. Another plus, they don't kill your wallet either. They're made by Tenneco, which is the same company that makes Ranchos I believe.

Yes, they are the same company that makes the rancho shocks. as well as OME, and others. I think the valving in the reflex are close to the OME sport shocks. stiffer than a twin tube, but not as rough as a regular monotube. I swear by them now.

Have ran those on my lifted KJ for over 100,000 miles, traded in one set already work great . Are you on LOST or any of the other KJ sites?

Interesting to hear. I work at a NAPA and always warranty the shocks. I try to be pretty liberal about warranties.
