I had this fabbed up locally here in South Texas four years ago, based on some dimensions/plans another member here sent me. My family is growing and the Tacoma is going up for sale, so I figured it would be best to sell the rack as well.
The front hoop sits just about the cab of the truck to protect the tent from any low hanging branches. I had always intended to mount some lights on it, but never got around to it.
The tent sits on 2 crossbars, 1x1 steel square stock. It bolts down through the top of the bed currently. I would probably modify the feet to allow them to clamp to the bedsides to avoid drilling holes. There have been zero issues with its current attachment method, its just more work to put back now.
Currently the rack is sitting in my garage and is difficult to take pictures of. If there is something specific you would like to see, let me know. Each season I would sand down the rough paint spots on the rack and recoat the whole this with duplicolor spray paint.
Asking price - $500 OBO picked up, or lets work something out for delivery.
