Here is the thread that my buddy started on this forum for my truck. I'm always going different routes but need to cull the heard before our next PCS and deployement. Not to mention the first kid is due in 5 months. Found out today I am probably going to either Germany or Kentucky towards the end of this year. I should know for sure in about 4 months. If I go to Kentucky I deploy 6 months later so no need to haul all the cars up there and store them for 18+ months. If I go to Germany we are looking at just over 3+ years where I won't need any of them.
So I should hold off until I know more but I'll throw this out there to see what is drummed up for interest as a good trade takes time to develop.
I'm looking for a 4x4 Ford Diesel van. Prefer the Ambulance/Ujoint rigs but if the trade was right could consider a Sportsmobile or Quigley though I don't think any of them are in my price range. Or anything that is similar to these. I have a full size F-250 so not really interested in anything like that.
I've got quite the line up of rigs I need to trade/get rid of.
1997 LX450 as shown above approx $13K
1997 F-250 CC 7.3L Auto 4x4 with 80 gallons of fuel and some other goodies 13K
1973 FJ40 that I'm almost done doing a Frame off restore 13+K
These are all the top rigs on the trade plate. Would love to turn 3 into 1.
Also if we move to Germany have my wifes 2008 e320 diesel (sadly don't own this one though) Might possibly be interested in a trade for a diesel SUV of some sort (I love the v10 TDI touareg...just not its reliabilty or lack there of)
Really don't want to sell but have a 1956 F-100 I did a custom job on. 4.6L engine/transmission out of a 1996 police car. As well as front end and suspension and steering. 9" ford rear. Just needs a paint job which would be done before trade. Upper teens for price. For the right combination of trade/price I could part with her and build another down the road.
Last but not least and would only be considered in the most extreme of circumstances (like for a 4x4 van made of gold :Wow1: ) my 1980 FJ43 I imported from Columbia. Needs a bit of work and a paint job. But lets just leave this one out of the equation for now.
So anyway. If I'm not going to be in country I can't stand to have these cars just sitting all over the country not being driven and nagging at my brain wishing I could drive them. They are already located from Oregon to North Carolina to Alabama. I don't need to ad another state to that list.
