Trailer lid

Hey all. I'm having trouble figuring out how to build a lid or top for my 6x5 expedition trailer. Any ideas or info on where I can go is appreciated.

I went to my local sheet metal shop and had them brake and weld up a 5x8 solid 20 ga. lid for my old dog trailer. It's still waterproof and working 19 years later. I put a turned-down hem all the way around, about 1", and put all fasteners through that hem so there is nothing on the top itself to leak. It's screwed down onto a 3/4" plywood sub-lid. Heavy but hell for stout and completely waterproof.
