Trailer must haves

I just picked up a trailer for future offroad camping trips, and i would like to get input on the must haves for these types of trailers. I will post pictures of the one I just picked up later. It was a 4 x 8 trailer that i am cutting down to around 4 x 5.

give the guys here a little more info on what your plans are.
How long are you planning on camping at one time (one night, 2 nights, a week, a month)? How many folks will usually go with you?
What do you mean when you say offroad?
Do you mean fire roads that are stock passable or rocky trails that needs 33's and lockers?
What do you want to keep in the trailer vs your tow vehicle?

Spare Tire

If your trailer hub pattern is not compatible with your towing vehicle, make sure you bring a spare that fits. Even if your tow vehicle has the same bolt pattern, make sure it'll fit on your trailer since some automotive wheels don't have a large enough hole in the center to fit over the trailer hubs.

How do you plan to use the trailer? If you just plan to carry extra gear to the camp site and setup your tent, etc. on the ground, it doesn't take much for "must haves". If you're going to be on some rough roads where clearance can become an issue, you may want to put larger wheels and tires (preferably the same as the tow vehicle if you're going to share a spare) or do a spring over axle conversion. I'm also a fan of trailer brakes (check your state since it may be required regardless). You may also want to pick up a coupler lock if you plan to leave your camp site for long periods of time. I'm also a fan of the silent hitch pin for keeping down the noise and rattling.

My goal with mine is for it to store most of my camping gear at all times.
I want it where if we want to go camping we load up the cooler, drop in the battery, fill up the water tank grab a few pillows/blankets and off we go.

I want to add trailer brakes to my m416, but I love the Parking brake, and I am having a hard time finding an electric braking axle with a manual parking brake.

electric brakes seem nice but how necessary? I've towed trailers thru Rubicon and other tough trails and have yet to see a reason or have a need for e brakes. Parking brake and wheel chocks seem fine. For rough stuff, we've partially set the parking brake for added control. Either way, good luck and have fun!

I mostly want brakes for the mountain roads I frequent with my trailer. or for a panic stop it would probably make it much more... controlled.
