Does anyone have any shipper recommendations for transporting a trailer cross country? Any leads appreciated!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Like a Chaser trailer...CO area, headed to GA. Not palletized, so I assume it can't go LTL freight. Less than 10ft. in length.
I have it on UShip right now, but no takers. The company I called wanted $1500 (not UShip), but the Colorado Springs/Denver area is a "dead spot" per brokers and transport companies. The load program shows no pickups in that area for a 100 mile radius. Not good.. I figured $500 - $800 would get it here...but I have a pickup time constraint for the end of this week. Thanks for taking the time to reply Xrunner.
Hey Xrunner....yes to the photos and details. I posted a photo of the trailer, the exact dimensions and weight. The seller is having a hard time finding a loading dock in his area. He located a vacant ramp that may work. I have a local company/friend that may try to put a load together so he can pick it up, but again...the time constraint may make it hard. If it was palletized and there was a fork-lift to be used, things would be different and much more affordable...but logistics is the hard part sometimes. The last loading dock I used to receive my Eezi Awn made me fill out paperwork, sign, etc. just for liability purposes. Not all facilities are willing to accommodate another person's private shipments. If I can't get something together today, I'll regretfully have to pass on a nice trailer.
