I have noticed that my trailer when being towed never seems to sit quite still
it has firestone airbags, set at half travel, independant suspension arms and some old landrover blingstiens gas shocks.
When towed it just seems too "active" it does not move enough to physically notice in the vehicle, but enough to see in the rear view mirrow as it happily bobbles about whilst underway.
even up to 80-90 mph I don't get any trailer speed wobbles...just looking in the mirror the trailer is in constant shimy wibble wobbles as it moves around as the ground changes under the wheels
even fully laden the body of the trailer is very easy to move up and down against the suspension.
it does not overbounce, but just seems that the pre loaded gas shocks V's the airbags makes the suspension too active, hence the movement.
I was wondering wether a standard oil restrictive shock would be a better choice for dampening the movement
What do you run on yours ?
