Trailer tracks..

Doesn't Get Out Enough
Apologies if it's repost, but I didn't see these on here yet...

Before you guys all start throwing cold water on me let me just say that my inner trailer-geek thoroughly understands that the cool factor is ominously overshadowed by the fact that the lightest pair still weighs +800lbs and no one in their right mind would want to undertake highway travel with these, but... these things are just too cool.

Looks like 6-bolt on 6in, and 8-bolt on 8in are the standard patterns, but with weights running from 'wait-what?' to 'O-M-G!' (at 1370lbs a pair of the HD models weigh as much as some loaded trailers on here) I'd say these were more for use with a track-equipped tow vehicle anyway. Still, fun to look at.

Those are cool. I can't think of an application but when a very specific need arises, these may be the only way to satisfy it. Thanks for posting...I am a big fan of mechanical things.

Those look really cool, and might irritate the neighbors, but, would they be prone to not rotating and just drag behind?

They use them up here on trailers behind tracked rigs, bringing folks and gear out to their ice fishing shacks.

Works great for spreading the weight, and keeping tires out of cracks and makes going over pressure ridges easier.
