Transfer case switches

Hi all,
So on my gen 1, I have these 2 switches. One has 1 lead the other has 2 leads, when I look under all I see is 2 wires connecting to the switches. I figure the 1 wire broke, but I cant find the wire that broke. Would it be buried back in the wrap of the 2 wires that are still connected?

So since I had 2 switches with 2 leads on both of the I need up splicing a female end on on ad hooked it up in series. Now I have the 4 wheel lock and 4wd light working.0

Yep, I had to do the same.
