Trip Report: Mill Ridge and 162 Rd (Luz Creek) Lincoln National Forest (Day Trip)

Thanks to KSJeep for taking me out and showing me some local trails. We started out on the Mill Ridge trail (starts at top of runaway truck ramp). Then proceeded through the forest on 162 Rd which runs through La Luz Canyon and along Luz Creek. Some very nice scenery and good ride up the mountains. Here are some pictures.

I used La Luz canyon up & back from Cloudcroft last week. Its an awesome hidden canyon. Planning to do a motorcycle ride through there this coming Tuesday.
