Triple electric fans?

Wow I wish I had found this when I put my stroker in a couple years ago!

I don't know any thing about the company but the product looks and sounds like its the best option on the market.

I went with an all brass three row from Extreme Radiator.com out of Alabama.
The service I got from these guys was great. I strongly recommend these guys to anyone. I still have overheating issues while towing on hot days or just when I'm pushing it on the highway.

If I had known about this option I think I would have jumped at it.

that is AWESOME! If I only had 400 clams to throw around. ebay has some really cool Jeep stuff nowadays....good find.

The ONLY thing I would make sure to find out is if it has the plumbing for the tranny cooler or if you have to buy an aux system and do it that way b/c that would clearly up the overall cost of the mod.

I am running a 5 speed manual (AX-15 if I recall correctly) so I don't need the tranny cooler.

Thanks Mike. I have ordered one. I'll report back here on the install and the cooling results.

Cool. I'll be interested to hear how it works out. I have been looking for something other then the OEM setup but nothing has really been all that interesting. This setup might be the way I go but I think I am going to use a SPAL fan controller to run two of the fans and the stock A/C wiring to run the third one. Nice thing about the SPAL unit is you can use the factory temp sender to control it and it makes the primary fan variable speed versus the typical on/off method.

You might want to check out the tech sheet on this. http://www.spal-usa.com/fans/automated/tech_sheets/PWMIns.pdf

Hey Mario, did your unit come in yet? Curious on the outcome.
Still waiting. Should be in tomorrow. Lead time is a week. I plan to install this weekend if all looks good to me. I will report back then.

I received the kit today. Unfortunately the radiator was bent/tweaked about 3/4" across its length, most likely an "in transit" wound despite no apparent damage to the box. I did not want to install it under any force that would cause premature failure. Other than that, the radiator is of good quality and is set up with a transmission cooler.

The fans are not bad but not as nicely finished as my spal units. I lit one up and it was powerful. The test of time will settle questions about durability.

Documentation is light, just a one page letter with installation tips and another sheet for wiring up the fan and installing the temp sensor. Its a radiator, how difficult can it be anyway?

I called them about the bent radiator, left a message and heard back in about an hour. The gave me a return authorization and said they will ship me one when they receive my retruned unit. I am disappointed that I am having to pay the return shipping and waiting for the round trip to be completed as I was hoping to install it this weekend. RT may take 1-2 weeks.

More later

Thanks for the update and bummer about the damage. In a perfect world, shipping companies would be careful with the shipments they are paid to deliver but as we all know, it's surprising anything makes it without damage.

Bummer about having to wait. Great customer service would have been to send your replacement out while the other one is waiting a return. Oh well.
