Triumph Tiger Explorer announced

Triumph has announced a big bore adventure bike, the 1200cc Tiger Explorer. Early reviews are cautiously optimistic.

The big bore "two wheel SUV" class is getting a little crowded. In alphabetical order: Aprilia Adventure 1200, BMW R1200GS, Ducati Multistrada 1200, Honda CrossTourer, KTM 990 Adventure, Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 4V, Yamaha Super Tenere and Suzuki V-Strom 1000. Did I miss any?

Huh, I had no idea that was coming out, nice looking bike. Honda just officially announced the CrossTourer over the weekend (I believe I read that correctly), looks like a multitude of bikes to choose from in that range. Too bad I don't have any need for a bike that big, I honestly think any of them could be good at what they were designed to do.

The VStrom 1000 is not in production anymore, is it?

Suzuki just announced that they are putting the DL1000 back into production.
