The 148 crews Roses des Sables Trophy 2014 took off Thursday from the village starting from the town of Ciboure(SW France).
This year, they are 296, 20 to 67 years, in duets and co-pilot, in Quebec and French majority, to take the wheel of 4X4 , ATV, buggies,quads to mechanical camel some 6000 kms of the borders of the Moroccan desert.
In Focus, Marrakech, after an extraordinary adventure sports and solidarity.
They landed in France of course, but also from Quebec, Switzerland, or ... of New Caledonia! Hands firmly placed on the gearbox, the eye already fixed on the compass, they form the caravan 14th Trophée Roses des Sables, raid 100% female composed this year of 148 crews. If their ability to control enable them to avoid the pitfalls of the wadis and dunes, is the ability of Roses out move that counts. Here it is not about speed.
