Unimog U1300L Drawings or Dimensions?

Hello all!
Long time lurkers - But now we are the proud new owners of a Unimog 1300L that we will be converting into an expedition camper/our next home. The vehicle is currently in the UK getting a subframe and composite box installed on it before it arrives here in the US in September. We are trying to build all we can for our camper before it gets here (while the weather is nice) but this is where it gets tricky. We have CAD drawings of our box and subframe so the cabinets, bed frame, interior furniture etc can all be made no problem. It's the exterior components like the roof rack, bush guards, bumper, under mounted storage boxes that we're having the issues with. We haven't been able to find an accurate drawing or dimensions with which to build these components from. We'd love to have a lot of these things ready to go when the Unimog gets here but it's been difficult to find exact specs on the 1300L. We've crawled through most of the Unimog forums on here but haven't had any luck.

Does anyone here have CAD drawings of the U1300L from a past build that is willing to share them? We would be eternally grateful for any help or guidance. Thanks in advance!

I believe they are starting on the composite box in July so it might have been a different 1300L you saw. They certainly have a few over there! From the photos they've sent it still looks like a military ambulance at this point. We're very jealous you are able to go directly to their shop. We're pretty excited to see it in person in September!

Taking my truck back in late June, will take another look. They had one box built, allegedly for someone in the 'States. It was going to go to Newcastle for the interior fittings.

AV have an Ambulance box for sale on Ebay so this maybe the one of your Unimog.

Atkinson has stated that they signed an NDA with Mercedes for the drawings of the Unimog. They kindly shared the box and subframe files with us, so we're grateful for that!

You shoulda left the "Ambo" box on there and just modified it. You'd be out camping by now. AV are good folks and I'm sure it'll be great when it is finally done. Welcome to the club.
