It's easier to import if you purchase the truck in Europe and bring it over with a broker.

Exactly, it's easier that way.
Why not come to the south of France, near the Mediterranean coast, to have a closer look at the vehicle ? Once you're here we could negotiate the price, taking a crossing back to the states into account.
