Good luck. David is somehow one of those guys that has buisness but doesn't answer the phone, doesn't return emails or anything. I tried for months to get a hold of him. There are even threads on ih8mud about him not returning calls or emails. His fans came online saying he was going through a nasty divorce etc. Well that was 2 years ago and guess what ,he still doesn't return calls. Last time I went to ATL I drove to his shop. There were plenty of veicles getting chasis up resto work and Dave and his staff were nice guys, but if you looking to get a hold of him you will have to go to his shop.

My general impression is that the rigs in shop were there for quite some time and yes the projects were lengthy but I have a feeling that expediting projects is not a priority eiter.

Yeah he is a little flighty and not extremely customer attentive unless he is dealing with you one on one. He seems to survive off a core group of customers that almost are friends and keep him busy enough to survive. Have not heard anything bad about his services and products being poor just seems to take his time to get back with people.

It is also Dixie Run weekend so he may well have shut down for the week to go up to Tellico.

Thanks for the reply guys, I too own an automotive shop in glendale az for over 25 years, and I know that I would not have stayed in businness for that long had I treated potential customes in that fashion!!
Really, all I wanted from him was to buy his oztent listed on his site- I sure am happy I did not need my auto repaired by him if it was my daily driver..lol
anywhoo, does anyone know any other dealers for the oztents?

I have been in comms with oztent. I have 2 units on the way right now for us personally. They are in the process of selectiong a u.s. distributor to set up retailers. They are hungry for u.s. market expansion. THey were at the O.R. show in august shopping for distributors. I would say in 6 months U.S. dealers will be rolling. Mike is looking ionto carrying the tents in a few months so check with him http://www.lokeytrucks.com

Great info guys, hopfully it will be soon till we have a distributor here in the U.S
I like to get their RV2 set up so it will compliment my rtt on the m-416-kinda
mother-in-law quarters/enclosed dining area/ dressing room/canopy/refuge from the snorer/guestroom setup...

I love the ease and the quick set up- kind like "set it and forget it"...lol
