URE!6 Uwharrie Rover Expedition! 6

I decided to post in the rover section instead of the regional event section due to the make specific quality of the event. I appologise if this offends anyone.

Anyway... this page will provide you with information concerning the upcoming rally our society is putting together.

This is a good year to get Back to Basics. Just driving your land rover on trails, or hanging out by a river or lake and fishing, or sitting in a campsite all day watching the leaves fall, or sitting by the fire and doing, well nothing of tangible value, or any or all of the above.

So this year, here is what we have changed. We will conduct the Uwharrie Rover Expedition! Back to Basics! URE!6 B2B! over the weekend of 22-25 October 2009 in North Carolina’s Uwharrie National Forest.

Here is the Old North States version of a stimulus package!

Fees: None! If you are a 2008/2009 member in good standing of the Old North State and your dues are paid (you paid your dues during 2008, or last October for URE!5, or earlier this year as a new join), the event:

Campground and Saturday night supper is,

wait for it, ......... wait for it.........

$FREE.

If you are not a member, then become a member by submitting a membership form and fee (found on our Home page) and come back to this page and register for the event and the event: Campground and Saturday night supper is

$FREE.

Saturday night supper is a fried chicken dinner from Bojangles.

So, no registration tent, we will check membership as you line up for supper, hand out a raffle ticket, give out what ever we can scavenge, and just kind of hang out and enjoy.

Only one more week to preorder shirts. These are not going to be the poor quality print job that we had last year. I do apologize for that.

Also, Don't forget about my latest masterpiece, the poster. We are only having 25 "limited edition" prints made of this. I will have 1 framed at the event for everyone to see.

Sadly I don't think the TDI would handle the trails very well, have an awesome time though! Uwharrie will be beautiful this time of year :)
