Urethane for Spacer Lift?

I was thinking of adding a 1" top loaded strut spacer. Since what I want isn't made by anyone, I would have to make it myself.
Instead of steel or aluminum I was considering using polyurethane, the question is what durometer. Was thinking maybe around 85-90 Shore A.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks!

What's your coil diameter, once you know that you can usually match it up to an existing product. Hint: Rock auto usually lists specs on springs by application.

Good tip. I have aftermarket linear coils, and the stock springs were progressive. But I would guess they'd have to be close to the same at the ends to fit on the strut.

The kind of spacer I was thinking of is the type that mounts between the strut and the body. Sorry for the huge pic..
