Used 4Runner Pricing

I posted a similar thread back in the summer when contemplating purchasing a used Taco but decided to hold off. Now, after saving a little more decided to give it another go but focusing on 4runners. Ive done a little looking around and it looks like 4Runner asking prices (private party) seem to be $1,500-$2k over Kbb values. Is this what I can expect overall or can I find some more in line with Kbb values. For example, I inquired about 2006 SR5 4WD leather interior 137k for $13,500 whereas Kbb has this in excellent with every option checked at $11,900.

Wondering what others have experienced with this...

Most tacomas and 4 runners are priced that way. You can probably negotiate them down to kbb price.

I never looked at 4th gens but Yotas in general are usually on the higher side, deals are out there but you have to be ready to pull the trigger when you see them. One thing that always frustrated me was that 4runners are cheaper than Tacos, but new it is reverse. I ended up with a 4runner because of this.
