Used 9500ut vs M8000 with bad solenoid

I started looking into winches, and I'm at a bit of a mental stalemate. I have two options available to me right now.

Ramsey 9500UT
Synthetic Viking Cable
Aluminum Hawse Fairlead
Winch Plate
2 standard controllers, wireless controller but missing remote

or

$375 shipped
Warn M8000
Synthetic Master-Pull Cable
Roller Fairlead
1 standard controller
has a bad solenoid (these seem to be about $20)


Is one a much better deal than the other? Tearing down the Warn is not a problem.

Due to space constraints, the M8000 would fit better with the solenoid box relocated, but I'm sure the Ramsey would fit too.

Let me know whereto find that Warn, I'll buy it!!!!!
Replacing the ****ty warn 4-pack of solenoids is something you should do anyways. Replace it with an Albright/Superwinch single contactor.


Seriously, let me know if that Warn is still available.

Either or. If it fits better then just go get it. Whatever you do, use big oversized wires when you install it for best results.

I'm using an ancient m8000 that I got used long time ago. It has never let me down.

Do you need the winch plate that the Ramsey comes with? If so then replacing the solenoids, roller fairlead and getting a winch plate will put you in the same price range. At that point do you want a Warn or Ramsey?
