My friend has a 08 JKU and wants to sell his softop, the jeep has about 30k miles on it. He wants $250 for it. I have a 2012 JKU hardtop and want a hardtop as well. Is this a good price

decent price contingent on condition. I have a brand new- still inside the truck and in factory wrapper, but would want $800. May be a good comparison of prices...

If the condition is good, all the bits and pieces are there and the bows are in proper condition, $250 is a very fair price for the age.

We purchased one from someone on craigslist with broken zipper sliders on the rear window and lots of cleaning needed for $180. It was a great price and fit my budget at the time, but if I could have gotten one for $250 in excellent condition with no cleaning necessary, I probably would have chosen that one first.

If it's in good condition, snap it up.
