Using jump pack as cheap shore power solution?

I have an old jump pack kicking around that still works well enough.

I got to thinking - in theory, it would be possible to plug my fridge into the 12V socket on the jump pack, while charging the jump pack from a 120V outlet via extension cord.

I imagine I could also connect the jump pack directly to the truck battery while charging it as well.

This would gain me a "shore power" solution at a cost of zero dollars. Has anybody tried this, or have any thoughts on why this may/may not work? My concern is if the pack can support charging and discharging the internal battery simultaneously.

No - I have a Dometic that was originally built as an OEM unit for Ford. It does not have the 110V input.

Every jump pack I've seen uses a trickle charger to juice it back up, so I doubt the one you have can keep up with the draw of the fridge for very long. I also doubt the small lead-acid battery will live for very long if you're deep-cycling it.
