I found a 1998 Discovery for $1800.Driven by an older gentleman.I am going to check it out tomorrow.I am told everything is in order and the factory brush guard is included but not installed.I will give it a good going over of course.What would be a good price?What should I be alert for when looking her over?
Here's the ad:"1998 Land Rover Discovery, White with tan leather interior. Automatic trans. 175K miles. New tires with less than 500 miles on them. Runs and drives well. 4WD works great, PW.PL. Alloy wheels. twin sunroofs. Clean exterior and interior for the age. Grill guard is included."
My thoughts were to use it as a daily until I can do a diesel conversion and manual transmission swap in a year, maybe two.
