What a beautiful 1st gen!

Any clue as to where they would have got these flares from? Only thing I can think of is they modified some chevy flares, but they fit pretty well aside from not having a place for the fuel door to open.

Anyways, thought you guys may want to see this if you haven't already.

Interesting that whoever built those trucks chose spring-under for the front axle. Those springs hang pretty low!

The first two pictures are taken on Pikes Peak for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Its built to go fast vs rock crawl. Lower center of gravity is a good thing when your negotiating turns as fast as possible at 13K ft+ with minimal guard rail.

Pretty sure some drifter, Chris Forsberg and Ryan Tuerck, are doing a whole video series with Valvoline about taking that truck to Baja 1000 this year.

Not sure if it is a p-pump or not, but is a 24v cummins not the 12 valve with the ve pump that came stock in the 1st gens. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a p-pump though, considering the amount of fuel you can get out of them.
