It's sad to say that I forgot I made this video... It really hasn't been that long ago.

It wasn't until I was talking with someone on here about the Alcan 5000 today that I remembered this video exists...

A few years ago, only days after I graduated high school (June of 2009), I caught a plane from Newark, NJ to Anchorage, AK. From there I spent about a month by myself making friends and discovering the land I have always called my favorite (but never actually saw it). Being a pilot myself, it was the idea of "bush" flying that lead me to Alaska. So during my trip I tried to get into many different airplanes. This landed my on a glacier on Denali and to a native Alaskan village above the Brooks Range. In between I spent my days and nights traveling in a borrowed Chevy Astro van from a friend of a friends who owned a catering service. Then the van blew it's transmisson outside of the Denali highway. I was a huge learning experience! And certain helped become the person I am today.

To all you who dream of adventure (which is probably all of you if you're on this forum :) ).

Nice Video! Flying that close to the mountain ranges had to be amazing.

Kudo's to you for jumping on the plane and flying out to Alaska so soon out of High School before life grabs ahold and keeps you grounded for the next 30 years.

I'm sure that adventure somewhat molded who you are today
