It's sad to say that I forgot I made this video... It really hasn't been that long ago.
It wasn't until I was talking with someone on here about the Alcan 5000 today that I remembered this video exists...
A few years ago, only days after I graduated high school (June of 2009), I caught a plane from Newark, NJ to Anchorage, AK. From there I spent about a month by myself making friends and discovering the land I have always called my favorite (but never actually saw it). Being a pilot myself, it was the idea of "bush" flying that lead me to Alaska. So during my trip I tried to get into many different airplanes. This landed my on a glacier on Denali and to a native Alaskan village above the Brooks Range. In between I spent my days and nights traveling in a borrowed Chevy Astro van from a friend of a friends who owned a catering service. Then the van blew it's transmisson outside of the Denali highway. I was a huge learning experience! And certain helped become the person I am today.
To all you who dream of adventure (which is probably all of you if you're on this forum
