hey all,

so i recently got a 1999 montero (full size). the engine was busted so i got it for $400. its the version with the rear air locker and all that, so i felt it was a pretty decent deal. anyways, instead of rebuilding the entire motor i decided to pull it and swap in a 1997 motor that i found for $800. before i put the motor in i decided to do the timing belt, valve cover gaskets, and rear cam seals. i also did the rear main seal but i didnt record that part.

the video is all taken on my cell phone while i was working on it so it so it isnt a continuous shot or anything. i basically am pointing to where some things are and explain briefly then stop record and do the work then start recording again. i dont know how helpful it actually is, but i figured i would upload it and link it here in the event anyone needs help with the job. this can all be done while the motor is in the car, of course. all you would need to do is remove the radiator.
