You always learn new stuff, didnt know dormobile built them as well , Marshall built some as well , UK gov must have spread the contract about , probably based on who gave cheapest quote at the time they needed a few !

Some used in Spain by the Guardia Civil, is a cop who, like the French Gendarmerie and the Italian carabinieri have functionality of both military and police...........

Overland travel is not new to Americans. The most famous group called themselves the vagabonds. The group started as a 2 family car camping trip to the everglades in 1914. The Ford Family and the Edison family.

Starting 1915 the vagabond group was expanded to include John Burroughs, naturalist Luther Burbank, Harvey Firestone and occasionally, President Harding. The last Vagabond group car camping trip was in 1924 when the participants decided that they were drawing too much attention.

Gearing up was as simple as turning the pages of the 1927 Sears catalogue:

Luther Burbank is one of my ancestors never knew about him camping with the fords....Thanks for the info

our CKD's rangies in 1985 (i was 5 then)

grandparents ('76 red) and my parents ('81 white/blue) ,mom was on diplomatic mission during that time here in Venezuela ,then we use the white one in France and it was sold in Germany in 1992 ,i'll try to look for pics during our time in europe ,my grandparents left Venezuela in 1995 ,they sold the red range still running that same year ,one owner from 76
