Want to add a radio to my intercom system ?

I'm not a HAM guy but can learn. So what would be a good radio to add to my intercom system ?
Intercom is a Rugged RRP 660.

Ok. It was a general question. I have some BF-F8's tuned to GMRS channels and Marine Channel's. Some car CB's . As for who ? Maybe car to car and to hand held.

Have not taken my Technician but have done the studying.

Wanted to tie a radio to the intercom. Can't do it with the F8. So I will look for and base that will work with the F8.

But its ,what would you look at ?

just enable VOX on the F8 and jumper it into your intercom? It should key up xmit when your intercom sends it audio

The intercom is for multiple people inside the car to talk to each other, driver to spotter or navigator or whatever. Everyone has headsets.

From where to where is the crux of the question. Wouldn't be difficult to add audio out from a radio as an external in source into his intercom (so everyone could hear traffic coming over the radio) but beyond that the two systems don't really cross over.

With your help I came up with a way to use the BF-F8+ in the system. Will post photos when the parts get here. Thanks,again !
