Want to make my roof rack floor out of this......

Ok, I picked up another Wilderness rack, but I can't stand their floor kit that doesn't cover the entire length of the rack. I am looking to remove the 3/4" steel tubing floor and replace it with something like aluminum t-track channel. Anybody know a good place to source something like this? I just want something light, strong, wide (around 4-5"), low profile, relatively cheap, and something that will provide a flat surface (i.e. no bolt heads sticking above the "flat" surface. Is this too much to ask for?

(I'll post a pic of what I'm looking for as soon as this site resolves the uploading issue)

There is a few choices, i can get the names of the material we have at work, you can probly get it in bigger sizes than our aplications.

Aluminum channel to suit sliding lock nuts will do what you want, I would use a light weight aluminium floor, with an adjustable tiedown system it will probably cheaper and stronger in the long term

Thanks for the response. Do you have a picture or a website I can take a look at?
