Hey. I am in the process of designing and building a new rear bumper. I would like to add a water tank, like the AEV water tank:
I saw this video some time ago, but it uses the stock bumper as a tank, and i cannot do that, as i am replacing the bumper to add a tire carrier. here is the video for those of you who have not seen it, there are at least 3 similar videos....
I am still debating over using an electric or manual pump... but first i want to know, if someone has mounted a water tank or container inside a bumper other than the stock one. I was thinking of maybe using a couple of lawn mower gas tanks (new), or something similar.... i dont need a lot of water, 5 gallons would be good, as right now i use a water jug for my 3 day camping trips....
