Weird electricals in 1990 RRC - Windows stall engine

lately my RRC developed some wired acts.

Whenever I use one of the high current electricals the following happens:

While idle the engine almost stalls. Can stall the car completely by using all 4 window lifters at once.

While driving at constant speeds a short but significant ignition cutout is noticable.

Changed already the altenator because this was my first prime suspect but it still remains after the swap. Tested the new altenator and the Voltage numbers are just fine (idle and under load 14.2 +- 0.2)

Another new thing is that when I turn the key into the start position it takes about 3 seconds until the starter starts up.

Can this all indicate a weak battery? (got it test 2 Months back and was all fine)
Or how does this all belong together?

The next step is to have the battery checked or replace it temporarily with one you know is good to test if that is the problem.

On something like a LR3 one would start at the battery. In my experience batteries can go bad pretty quickly. Maybe you have a corroded harness connector or loose ground?

The quest continious!

I was wondering where all the interieur electrics are grounded. I found on ground point underneth the cubby box but wasnt lucky to find something under the dash board or seats etc.

Anyone a hint on this?

update!

After alot of digging I found and sorted the following flaw. The power supply from the ignition switch to the starter relais was weak, therefore the funky starting. Found and sorted it by supplying the relais directly from the battery. Which brings me back a fellow RRC drivers tip of the the faulty ignition switch.

Good news is they are available - all 6 which where ever used in this period. No one so far was able to match my switch with the ones in the available parts lists.
Bad news is delievery takes up to 4 weeks and the part is between 50 and 600 AED. No return because of special order. ;-(

Next issue tackled where bad grounds. Found quite some (most important the one under the centre box), but still missing out on the important ones under the dash.
Would appreciate some guidance here. Studied the Rave on this, but this only covers the 95 model on the ground locations.
