Got out of the house and took a little trip along Westside Rd. It was a pretty overcast day and the cool mountain air made for a great trip.

Those are great mountains and not many people up there. The Sacramentos are also home to a cool lungless salamander called the Sacramento Mountains Salamander that is endemic to the Sacs. Cool place with cool critters. :costumed-smiley-007

Being a native of New Mexico and growing up in 4x4 family, seeing these pictures sure brings back some memories. Northern New Mexico, north of Santa Fe was always my favorite but White Sands is near magical. Thanks.
