WHAT BATTERYS TO GO WITH FOR THE BEST DEEP CYCLE

I have a f-550 with service bed and a cabover camper. I one of the boxes on the truck to hold and charge batteries. I have 2 smaller batterys and they do not hold a charge long enough to run led work lights for camping they die pretty quick. I think if I were to add maybe 2 6V golf cart batteries. Is that a good solution?

2 6volt golf cart batteries is the best, most cost effective solution. Trojan, Crown or Lifeline.
Make sure you use the correct charge cycle/voltages check fluid levels and equalize regularly.

I plan on using the trailer charging wire that is in the 7 pin connector to charge while driving and a battery tender hooked to a generator when parked. Eventually adding solar.

I cannot stress this enough, make sure you are getting the batteries back to full charge at least once a week. Equalize as recommended by the battery manufacturer. The trailer wire may or may not be OK. I would bet it is undersized and not providing the required voltage.
Nice rig.

If you are burning fuel, You might as well use a proper batterycharger when connected to a generator.
Battery Tenders, basically a tricklecharger for battery maintenance/storage & take a long time to get a low battery back to charged.

yea thank you this is what I planned on doing I have a good one at home I plan on bringing and hooking up.
