What did it cost to paint your M416 Trailer

I am going to get the exterior of my M416 trailer painted, as inside I will use bedliner.

Has anyone had the exterior of the box pained and if so what did you pay?

Thanks

I painted it myself. I used Rust-O-Leum black (in the quart can) thinned with Naptha. Sprayed it with an inexpensive spray gun.

Laid this down over an industrial primer.

I couldn't see spending the money on a professional paintjob, when I'll be dragging my trailer all over the place:wings:

And being gloss black, I can touch it up with a rattle can, when needed.

I painted it myself...probably went overboard:
- Two coats of KBS (inside and out...tub, frame, fenders, etc).
- Two to three coats of epoxy spray paint (inside and out...tube, frame, fenders, etc).
- DIY Herculiner on inside of tub and bottom outside of tub.
- Some type of spray-on bedliner on the inside of the fender wells
(Note: I had completely disassembled my trailer for blast and paint)

4 qt KBS silver: appx. $50.00 + shipping
7 cans epoxy spray paint: appx. $28
1 gal 'kit' of DIY Herculiner: appx. $90
1 can spray-on bedliner appx. $10

Total = appx. $170
plus lots of time

I had a $200 quote from a trailer manufacturer to paint everything in epoxy black...but I think I have a longer lasting and more durable paint with the KBS and Herculiner.
