What happened to the JL/JLT thread?

Can't say I blame you. I wrote a huge rant and luckily got logged out before I posted it. Upon second thought I realized that I really didn't need to go there, everyone gets it. Unless the new Jeeps are going to be a tremendous value they really aren't that interesting.

@SheepnJeep

Our attention has turned towards wanting a last model year 2017 jeep Wrangler JK or JKU not sure at this time. We'll have apporx 20K to toy with around Dec of this year, Work has been good and continues to be good.. Allpar has been the worse on me/us about changing our minds about the new jeep.. I think what makes this so unnerving is that what at the JLwrangler forums.. they keep posting spy shots of.. nothing new.. This leads me to believe and until i'm proven wrong, Jeep isn't creating anything new, but instead adding on to a jeep that's already been successful for the last 10 years or so. Now don't get me wrong the guys and gals over at JLWF have been very respective to my comments and the another reason I left the forums is because several contacted me in private informing me they've changed their minds also.

I view this new jeep and the possible jeep truck as an epic fail or nothing more than a band-aid on a hemorrhage covering up nothing more than what is a JK body with simple addon parts and reworking the sport bar (removing it all together) The addition of parts from other jeeps (example: Renegade tail like bezel) is nothing "new" I was hoping for a total rework of a classic and said so in several cases. In fact I would have rather seen the Chief concept or something off the wall (Mighty FC) take center stage as the new idea for 2018/19.

Yikes, maybe you should put a disclaimer, that you delete threads you have lost interest in when you start them.
Old dog new tricks and all..but maybe realize life exists beyond yourself.

I'm bored so lets break this down:

Nobody at FCA gives a f--- about your opinion, nor will they be compelled to only change or retain what you agree with.
Nobody on Allpar gives a f--- about your opinion, nor do they have to come around to your line of thinking. (I've read the thread.)
Nobody on JLwrangler gives a f--- about your opinion, nor do they have to come around to your line of thinking.
Nobody on ExPo gives a f--- about your opinion, nor do we have to come around to your line of thinking.

Life gets easier when you accept that you're not any more special than next guy. People do care when you decide you're no longer interested in something they contributed to and you delete it. Not just here on ExPo, but anywhere. Its a ******** thing to do and counter to being part of a community. Forums have utility because of the collection of living and archived content. We don't have to agree with you and you don't have to agree with us and that's perfectly okay. If you're done with a topic, stop posting in it. It really is that simple. If you don't want notifications for the thread you started, unsubscribe from the thread.

Notification?.. never got any.. I closed the thread because we've had a change of heart, so there's no point in continuing to allow others to post in a thread I created.. if they want to to discus the topic, they can create their own thread or delete it as I did. Matter of fact, I could care less about anyone's opinion on here or other sites OTHER than Jeff Scherb's and thats the only reason I'm here is to follow him.

I've said my piece and will continue to follow Jeff' topics silently, thank you for reminding me to not speak in this forum ever again, Not worth it. Thread topics are nothing more than a ploy to aggravate or intimidate others into thinking one is superior over another just because they've been on some sort of wild adventure in a well modified transport which I was looking forward to doing myself one day.. But if I did, I doubt anyone one here would actually be interested in reading about it at least according to you and others I've spoken with. So thank you again for setting me on the correct path which I wondered off of for just a moment.

I think it was him that tried to bust me up as well in another thread and I told him to respond in a PM. No response and it's been over a month. Some people are just this way.
Sort of like some lady friends I've had that accused me of doing things I never did.
Ignore this member.
Nice response AmpLighter

This is a weird thread for Expo, more like Pirate.

Anyways, I find it odd that anyone would have thought the JL would be more than a warmed over JK. Jeep isnt going to reinvent the wheel.
