I just picked up a bunch of new cases to organize my stuff. I want to keep all my gear in them so what I'm ready to go, I can literally load it up and go.
I already have my first aid/ stuff in two bags (one "basic" first aid kit and another for cold weather survival)
I also carry all my tie downs and recovery straps/shackles/gear in a large water tight para flare ammo can
I also have this one which I think I will use for fire wood (when I need to bring my own) because
this:
turns into this:
which leaves me with these
one will be my kitchen supplies (with plastic liner for using it as a sink)
the wide flat one I will probably use for tools/ax/shovel
and one will be for my misc camp gear
I'm also probably going to put a "go bag" together using either this
with this
or
this
the weigh of the green cases aren't too bad considering the protection they offer. Right now I'm "4x4less" so I am using my dodge dakota crew cab for camping and still getting out there.
