What kind of base unit fits in a standard garage?

I would prefer no classic pop-ups, which are the obvious solution. Just casting about for as large a unit as possible that is low enough to fit a standard garage door (7 feet) and either under 22' or modifiable to be under (is folding tongue?). Built units welcome but not necessary.

Also I'm going as large as possible, this would be a full RV travel trailer for a family of four when finished.

So what is out there that might work?

none. Anything that is solid walled requires you to stand up in the internal ceilings are a minimum of 6'7". Add the axels, wheel height, and amenities on the roof and you are over 7'. POPUP is the answer. Or a Bagged / adjustable ride height custom camper.

Oooooh, a bagged/adjustable ride height camper would be awesome. Stop getting my wheels turning right before bed!

I have seen folks use a set of dinky 8" trailer tires as rollers to lower a trailer enough to clear overhead obstructions.

Hi-Lo trailers might still be in production. Those would certainly fit in the garage.

any possibility of having the header of the door raised & taller door w/ low clearance hardware installed? or even swing doors like in the olden days.
