My wife are looking for a small camper to put a roof top tent on. We liked the size of the NoBo, but 25k seems too much. We are not doing any crazy off roading, just general exploration and camping. Looking at Intech and Sunray. Anyone have any suggestions? Love the outdoor kitchen and want to use the inside of the camper for storage. We just want to get out, keep it simple and not break the bank-I know, it’s what we all want!

What do you think about a basic cargo trailer? Add a roof rack for the RTT and build or incorporate a ready to go camping galley.

You might look at some of the builds using surplus military trailers like the M105. Rugged little buggers and can be pulled with most trucks/SUVs. And not stupid expensive to build out.
Bonus points for using a S250 shelter with it. Trailers can be had for around $1500 and the S250 can be found at auction for around $2000. Govplanet sells them every week (trick is finding one close enough to fetch).
