What type of trailer is this?

I was wondering if anyone out there knows the pedigree of this trailer. The seller says it might be a military radio trailer?

I had a trailer just like that a few years back. I believe its an old utility truck bed.

Yep, looks like an old phone company utility bed.

A lot of companies had those on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, plumbers, electricains, lineman.

It's very possible it's an old military box.

But I'm pretty sure it's not a 'Military radio trailer', judging by the axle and tires.

Looks like a great start to an expedition trailer!

Its not military. Could be a good highway/occasional dirt road gear hauler with some work. For $350, how much of a money pit could it be?

Yeah, I think you've got it. It's from a lineman's truck. As in wires, not wireless

For $350, it might serve you well. It'll at least keep you occupied spiffing it up and configuring it into a camping mule. That is a good price per pound (it looks a little heavy to me).
