What years Tundra do you recommend?

My 2005 brochure states a bed depth of 17.2 for AC and 20.7 for DC. I always felt the AC bed was shallow, even compared to my Ranger.

I don't think there is any actual difference in power between 05 and 06. I think the standards for how power ratings are determined changed and that's why the numbers are different
So, then the power between the 05 amd 06 is the same? I was wondering how the 06 was derated.

Purchased my 05 dc sr5 in December. One owner, 150k miles, clean history, all service records, lsd and leather seats. I went with one at 150k because the engine is just getting broke in at that point. Got her for just under 10 out of Texas. Then had it shipped to Maine. I see similar rusty versions selling for 14-16k up here.

Locally to me, within the last couple of weeks, it seems like the average mileage on 05 and 06 Tundras that I've seen is around 200K. The lowest I saw was just under 100k.

I bought my Tacoma with 160K miles on it. I put on another 100K miles on it before it started having any major problems with it. It now has 340K. My neighbor was trying to talk me out of getting a Tundra and get a Silverado, instead, because it has better fuel mileage. But, I got to thinking that I would rather have something that will last longer, than something with a little better MPG. I would be saving money in the long run.
