Thanks for that link. I read through it and it was very informative. Now, I'm thinking that its best to stick with 15" wheels and get 33x10.5x15. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and jump the BFG AT ship and give Cooper tires a try in 31x10.5x15. Unfortunately, they don't have tires in 33x10.5x15. So, if I like the Coopers, I will need to switch to 16" wheels and get 255/75/16, when I am finally ready to jump up to 33"s

this is going to get opinionated... it's just one of those subjects... but the general rule most big wheel guys (who actually use them) say rules of thirds of wheel width with tire width...

so..

9" rim, 11~12.5" tire..
10" rim, 12~14" tire..
12" rim, 13.5~15" tire..

and so on... it has to do with locking the bead to it's best advantage, as well as planting the tread to it's best advantage...
