When Can I Order a 2015 4Runner?

I'm not a T4R.org member (a more likely place to post this) so I thought I'd ask here.

In Oklahoma, I have tried to order (about a month ago) a white 2014 TE premium WITH KDSS and apparently it can't be done. The dealer says they just can't get that package for some reason - not sure if it's a gulf states region restriction or what. As I peruse the net - across the entire country - there are less and less 2014 TE's available. I'm assuming it's due to the approaching 2014 model year closeout.

So, should I wait an try an order a 2015? When do you think that is? September? October? Or, do I need to fly to Montana to pick up one of the few remaining 2014's? (I admit, a trip to montana would be awesome but $$$).

Thanks for any help....

In the scope of shelling out cash for a spankin new 4R, a friday morning flight to Montana and weekend drive back sounds like a no brainer if it gets you the truck you want.

It's a Gulf States Dealer thing. Saw a thread where they ordered exactly zero KDSS trucks for 2014.

Get in touch with Hardy Tadlock at Toyota of Dallas. If it can be done he will get it done.
x2, my family has purchased from him and he's very good.

I ran into a similar problem when I purchased my Tacoma. For whatever reason I couldn't get mine with DTRLs, side air bags, and a couple other options because Gulf States Toyota simply didn't order any trucks with those options. My salesman at Toyota of Dallas looked into it and said that in theory it was possible to order one, but the wait time could be 6+ months, and they could end up coming back after several months and rejecting the request. I have no idea if that was true, or just a line to try to get me to buy a truck off the lot, but I will say that the salesman I was dealing with at the time was one of the least slimy salesman I've ever used, so I was inclined to believe him.

He also said it was possible to trade with another dealer somewhere else in the country and get a truck with those options, but he wasn't sure how many dealers would be willing to trade for a truck that doesn't have options their customers apparently want.
